Students who have completed all required Grade 10 course work are eligible to enroll at Riverside and pursue technical training towards an apprenticeship or a career in a desired trade. Riverside offers a variety of apprenticeship trades training courses that change from time to time based upon labour market requirements. Students are registered as apprentices in the province of BC and they receive Level One Technical training of a trade as set out by the Industry Training Authority for the technical knowledge and skills required of the first year apprenticeship. Students earn both secondary school graduation credits and apprenticeship training credits through this course work.

Students who have graduated, but who are 19 years of age or under, may continue to qualify for funding through the BC Ministry of Education.
