Apprenticeship Program
Mission Public Schools offers Apprenticeship (SSA) courses and credits which support and count towards graduation requirements. Students register with their employer and the Apprenticeship Board. There are four courses offered: SSA 11A, SSA 11B, SSA 12A, and SSA 12B totalling 16 credits. These courses are for students who are being paid for apprenticeship work while they attend school, work on the weekends or work during any holidays. There is also a possibility of earning a $1000 scholarship after the course work is completed. Students may “Earn while you Learn”, avoiding large student loans and debt.
